Tinting

Window tinting is a process wherein a transparent, thin sheet of film will be applied to the window of the vehicle in order to reduce the heat and radiation from the sun. Many people have their car windows tinted for aesthetic reasons, however tinted windows can have other advantages. Window tints can help to prevent theft, especially on commercial vehicles. The window tints make it difficult to see what is inside the vehicle which in turn reduces the temptation for opportunist thieves. In the event of an accident the plastic film used to tint the windows can keep the glass in one piece, preventing it from shattering and injuring any occupants.
